Welcome to the 22nd annual celebration of puppetry and animation in Scotland, the UK’s oldest and largest performing arts festival for children and young people Started as a week of events in 1984 at the Netherbow in Edinburgh, the Festival now lasts for five weeks and this year will present over 300 performances, workshops and film screenings in more than 150 venues throughout Scotland – from Inverness to Melrose, from the Isle of Colonsay to Dunbar – and all points in between. Whichever event you attend and wherever you are we hope you enjoy what the Festival has to offer – the best of puppetry in the UK
